The story behind creating this company, began with a moment of kindness I never forgot in my own journey of motherhood.
Mom Wellness™: A promise kept
Years ago, I stood in a Safeway checkout line in Tacoma, Washington, when my debit card declined. I was a single mother going through a divorce, money was SUPER tight, and I told the cashier I would have to leave my groceries behind.
A gentleman behind me offered to pay for me, and afterward, he said something I never forgot: “I don’t know what you’re going through, but when God brings you through it, pay it forward to another mother.”
Eighteen months later, in that same checkout line, I watched another mother’s debit card decline. She apologized to her young daughter and said they would have to leave their groceries behind. This time, I was the person standing behind her and I told her I would pay for her groceries. Through tears, she said, “God bless you.” The cashier, Ms. Christina, smiled and replied, “Oh, He will!”
I never forgot that promise or the kindness that made it possible. Mom Wellness™ carries that spirit forward and is the brand at the heart of this work.
Mom Wellness™ was founded to support mothers as they reflect, heal, rebuild, and move forward. Through journals, a soon to be monthly newsletter, Blessing Bags, and community initiatives like Dinner Is On Me, I bring encouragement and practical support into mothers’ everyday lives.
Together, we’ll turn healing into action! When a mother receives support, the impact reaches her family and the generations that follow.
